This package is intended for students who have already taken the 3-hour Law And Rule Required Course (LARRC) but still need another 27 hours of education. This Oregon real estate license renewal package includes:
Agency Relationships in Oregon (3 hours)
Disclosure Obligations (4 hours)
Environmental Issues 1 - Lead, Asbestos, and Radon (3 hours)
Environmental Issues 2 - Mold, VOCs, Potable Water, Drug Houses, and USTs (3 hours)
Ethics for Real Estate Agents (4 hours)
How to Write Conditions and Contingencies (1 hour)
Residential Property Inspections (4 hours)
Risk Management For Real Estate Brokers (4 hours)
The package also includes an Ethics course that complies with National Association of Realtors® membership renewal. Realtors® are required to complete at least 2.5 hours of Ethics training every two years. The course completion certificate issued when passing the Ethics for Real Estate Agents course can be used to meet the NAR requirement.
This package is NOT for Oregon real estate brokers who are renewing their licenses for the first time. First-time renewals are required to take a 27-hour Broker Advanced Practices course and the 3-hour Law and Rule Required course for a total of 30 hours.
As of September 2016, the Oregon Real Estate Agency requires online course providers to ensure that students spend the required amount of credit hours in each course before issuing a course completion certificate.
