The financing contingency in the OREF Residential Real Estate Purchase Agreement lays out the information that the buyer is submitting to the seller regarding the buyer's ability to purchase the seller's property. This contingency covers what is to happen finance-wise when an all-cash offer is presented to the seller, or what is to occur with regards to the balance of the purchase price being offered. This section of the purchase offer form also covers what happens when there is a failure of the financing contingency.
This 1-hour video course explains the issues surrounding the financing contingency in the OREF sale agreement.
