Steve Anderson, CRB, Property Appraiser 2, shares his knowledge and background after being involved in over 3,000 property tax appeals as a hearings officer and a taxpayer's representative. Steve discusses in detail how property is assessed, timelines involved, information available to property owners, the hearing itself, what is relevant for evidence, value trending, grades or classes of properties, compression, omitted property, exception value and the gross error statute. Steve likes to tell stories of actual cases to make his points and delivers the topic in a fast paced style that keeps the audience involved. He has taught this class for continuing education credit to: Realtors, CPA's, Attorney's, mortgage brokers and financial planners.

Course Content

This online course is approximately one-and-a-half hours long. It consists of a prerecorded webinar presentation divided into 12 sections. Each video must be watch in its entirety to move onto the next video. A course completion certificate for Oregon CE credit will be issued after completing the course.

This course will remain available to students for 365 days after enrollment.
