How To Renew Your Missouri Real Estate License

Real Estate licensees in Missouri are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education credit hours on every even-number year. Salespersons must complete their 12 hours of education before midnight on September 30th, and Brokers must be finished by midnight on June 30th.

For the 2010 license renewal period, the Missouri Real Estate Commission is requiring that all licensees take a 3 hour mandatory course called Representation Options in the State of Missouri. The remaining 9 hours of CE hours can be completed with elective courses.

After you have completed the 12 hours of continuing education course study, you must send in a Missouri real estate license renewal application. The course completion certificates must be included with your renewal application, since the REC is not notified by your course provider that you have completed the necessary course hours. Keep a copy of the course completion certificates for your records.
