This package of courses are for students who have taken both of OnlineEd's free 3-hour CE offerings: the OREA-required Law and Rule Required Course (LARRC) and the four free 1-hour OREF 2018 courses. This discounted package includes the remaining 23 hours necessary to meet the Oregon Real Estate Agency's 30-hour continuing education requirement for real estate brokers.
The courses included in this package are:
Disclosure Obligations (4 hours) - This course will review many disclosures that must be given to clients such as disclosures that sellers are obligated to complete, environmental disclosures, federal disclosures, and more.
Environmental Issues 1 (3 hours) - Lead, radon, and asbestos are the important environmental factors reviewed in this course.
Environmental Issues 2 (3 hours) - The follow up course to Enviro 1, the series continues with mold, volatile organic compounds, potable water, drug houses, and underground storage tanks.
Ethics for Real Estate Agents (4 hours) - Being an ethical broker is beneficial to clients and the public. This course will review the ethical standards outlined by the Oregon Administrative Rules, the Oregon Revised Statutes, and the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics.
How to Write Conditions and Contingencies (1 hour) - This course is designed to explain proper contingency drafting and how the law may affect that drafting.
Residential Property Inspection (4 hours) - This course covers several areas that residential home inspectors review during a home inspection.
Risk Management for Real Estate Brokers (4 hours) - Real estate transactions are not without risks! This course will instruct students on how to mitigate many common risks that brokers face as well as the consequences for not proactively protecting oneself from potential liabilities.
