This course counts as required hours for Brokers and Salespersons under Kansas law. It will include discussion of the Brokerage Relationships Act with agency and transaction brokerage defined and used. There is extensive discussion about the proper use of contract forms and the handling of offers. Disclosure duties and avoidance of misrepresentation and fraud will be explored. License law duties with emphasis on advertising are described and applied. An explanation of fair house law and responsibilities concludes the material.
This course is made up of reading material with a 30-question, closed-book final exam at the end of the course. Passing the final exam requires a minimum score of 75%. A course completion certificate for 3 hours of Missouri elective CE credit will be issued after passing the final exam.
You will receive a digital Kansas continuing education completion certificate (PDF) after the completion of this course. This certificate can be printed or kept digitally with your records.
The Kansas Association of REALTORS® (KAR) will upload your CE course completion record to the Missouri Real Estate Commission (MREC) within 10 days of course completion. You do not need to send the course completion certificate to MREC unless requested to by the commission.
This course will remain available to students for 365 days after enrollment.
