Implicit Bias

This is a non-credit course. Not for license renewals.

This course will cover the impact of implicit bias, explicit bias, and systemic bias on consumers, the historical and social impacts of those biases, and actionable steps students can take to recognize and address their own implicit biases. Students will learn what is a implicit bias, explicit bias, and systemic bias and the impact those have on a person or group on a conscious and unconscious level. We'll also explore the historical and social impacts of bias and recognize and address implicit bias, including addressing a real estate licensee's own bias.

Course Content

The course is divided into four chapters of reading material. An optional review quiz follows each chapter.

At the end of the course is 10-question final exam in multiple-choice question format. A test score of 75% or greater is required for course completion.  

This course will remain available to students for 120 days after enrollment.
