This course brings an understanding of the Realtor® Code of Ethics and its relationship to license law. This course qualifies for real estate continuing education and meets the NAR mandate for all Realtors® to acquire at least 2.5 hours of continuous Code of Ethics training every three years.

Each module will begin with an informational video lecture from the course instructor, Vern Jarboe, followed by interactive activities to expand upon the module's subject. At the end of each module is a short quiz to help remember the important points you should now be better familiar with.
After completing all of the modules, a 30-question final exam will be given. The final exam is not timed and can be attempted as many times as needed to earn the minimum 90% passing score. Course completion certificates for Kansas real estate continuing education credit and Missouri real estate continuing education will be issued after passing the final exam and completing a course feedback survey.

This course covers discrimination and housing, types of violations, advertising rules, ADA, penalties, fair employment practices, fair credit practices. It also explores anti-trust laws, bankruptcy protection, environmental considerations, and data security.

This course counts as required hours for Brokers and Salespersons under Kansas law. It will include discussion of the Brokerage Relationships Act with agency and transaction brokerage defined and used. There is extensive discussion about the proper use of contract forms and the handling of offers. Disclosure duties and avoidance of misrepresentation and fraud will be explored. License law duties with emphasis on advertising are described and applied. An explanation of fair house law and responsibilities concludes the material.
This course is made up of reading material with a 40-question quiz at the end of the reading material. This open-book quiz requires a minimum passing score of 90%.
A 30-question, closed-book final exam will be presented at the end of the course. Passing the final exam requires a minimum score of 75%.
Two course completion certificates will be issued after passing the final exam: 4 hours of Kansas mandatory CE and 3 hours of Missouri elective CE.
