This course is a study guide to help you pass the Oregon real estate licensing exam. It is not required educational credit towards your course completion, but it will assist you with enforcing the topics covered in the OnlineEd pre-license courses. Completing this course is optional; the module is noninstructed.
This Oregon real estate license exam prep course covers the following topics:
Each chapter contains a study exam of multiple choice question. You can retake the exams for additional practice as many times as you like until you feel comfortable with the study exam subjects.
At the end of the exam prep course is a practice licensing exam that simulates the Oregon real estate licensing exam of 130 random questions in 3 hours and 15 minutes, which can be attempted as many times as you'd like. Each attempt will serve a new set of 130 questions.
Course providers are NOT allowed to know the exact questions examinees will see on their actual licensing exam. This study course is to help applicants become familiar with all aspects of the real estate industry before registering to take the state licensing exam.
This course will remain available to students for 365 days after enrollment.

FIRST TIME LICENSE RENEWAL COURSE (Required) - This Real Estate broker class is approved by the Oregon Real Estate Agency (OREA) and complies with Agency requirements for Oregon licensees who are renewing their real estate broker license for the first time. Licensees are required to take 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years to keep their broker license active and must complete a 27-hour Advanced Practices course and a 3-hour Law and Rule Required Course (LARRC) at their first license renewal.
This Oregon Real Estate Broker Advanced Practices post-licensing class is divided into six regulation-required topics:
Each topic segment is divided into smaller segments that cover specific facts, information, and details. Short questions will appear between pages to help students comprehend the presented information. There may also be open discussions where students can give their opinions based on what they've experienced during their first few years as real estate brokers.
At the end of the course is a 60-question final exam. The final exam is not timed, requires a minimum passing score of 75%, and can be taken as many times as necessary to pass.
After successfully completing the final exam for this 27-hour course, a course completion certificate will be generated. This certificate should be printed and kept with your education files as proof of meeting the OREA-required first-time renewal education course. You are not required to send this certificate to the Agency, but must have it available if the Agency requests it.
Note: Oregon Real Estate Agency regulations now require students to spend the required amount of seat time on continuing education courses. Students will need to study the materials for 27 clock hours (50 minutes per hour) before gaining access to the final exam to complete this course.
This course will remain available to students for 730 days after enrollment.

Catalog Effective Date: January 1, 2024
As a pre-license candidate, Oregon requires you to complete a 150-hour real estate broker pre-license course. This 150-hour course is made up of seven required individual courses we call "modules." These seven modules are:
Agency (15 hours)
Contracts (15 hours)
Real Estate Law (30 hours)
Practices (30 hours)
Brokerage (20 hours)
Finance (30 hours)
Property Management (10 hours)
Each module is further divided into smaller sections called "segments." Throughout the segments there are activities for you to complete, including audio/visual presentations, reading assignments, and simple learning assessments. At the end of each module, you are presented with a final learning assessment. These seven module final learning assessments are required by the Oregon Real Estate Agency in order to demonstrate competency in the subject matter of the modules. For the most part, these assessments are made from multiple choice questions. Once you pass a module final assessment with a minimum score of 75%, you are granted access to the next module.
While the course and our delivery method will adequately prepare you for your module final learning assessments, your OnlineEd Certified Designated Course Instructor is also available to help you prepare or review your results.
The course is available in English-only.

This comprehensive green accreditation course, presented by Earth Advantage, will provide real estate professionals with a competitive edge in communicating features and benefits for green and energy efficient home opportunities in their market.
Are you prepared to meet increasing homebuyer demand for healthy, comfortable, efficient homes?
A nationwide study in 2016* found that 81% of people who expect to buy a new home in the next two years say higher energy efficiency would cause them to choose one home over another AND that they would be willing to pay more for a healthier home. Policies and programs are also growing the green home market such as the City of Portland Home Energy Score Program and the more than 1-in-3 new homes built in Oregon that have earned an EPS® from Energy Trust of Oregon demonstrating they perform an average of 22% better than code-built homes.
The big picture shows a dramatic rise in the popularity of green and energy efficient homes that provide a healthier living environment and greater energy, water, and resource efficiency. Stay on top of your game by becoming an Earth Advantage Broker so you can continue to exceed homebuyer expectations with savvy information and recommendations.
Learn how to upgrade or sell a green home and market yourself as a green professional. Homebuyers and sellers rely on their real estate agents to provide influential guidance, and yet a 2017 report by the National Association of REALTORS®** shows that only 39% of REALTORS are comfortable answering clients' questions about energy efficiency. Homebuyers with ready access to the internet will expect you to know more and be a trusted advisor in their purchasing decisions. Being a green professional means you are ahead of the curve and understand how houses are changing. In order to best serve your clients, you will be expected to have earned a green designation proving that you have knowledge of the green home market, can discuss green features and benefits, and recommend the best ways to upgrade.
