This course provides a survey of non-traditional mortgage products. Although real estate agents do not originate mortgage loans, understanding what mortgage products are available to clients will help real estate licensees provide a better client experience. It will also provide awareness of potential difficulties in the real estate transaction when clients opt for non-traditional mortgages.

This is an online mastery-based Rhode Island real estate license course. It contains segments that include reading, video, questions, quizzes, and a final exam. Students are expected to progress through all activities to make course progress.
Completion of the course requires passing a final examination of 15 multiple choice questions with a minimum score of 75%. Students that fail a final exam may retake the final exam as many times as needed to pass.
This nontraditional mortgage products course will take about 3 clock hours to complete.
