After you finish any real estate continuing education course, you will be able to print your own course completion certificate that has everything needed to verify your completed continuing education with the West Virginia Real Estate Commission.
All real estate license renewals require the completion of 7 hours of continuing education before June 30th.
An active West Virginia real estate license is valid from July 1st until June 30th. In order to renew their license for the next year, a real estate licensee must complete 7 hours of WVREC-approved continuing education courses before June 30th. There is a provisional late renewal period from from July 1 to September 31, and a reinstatement period from October 1 to December 31 for those whose licenses have lapsed.
